Mining Nimiq in IceMining.ca pool using MinerMonitoring Windows Control

In this guide we will show you how easily and quickly you can start mining Nimiq coin using MinerMonitoring.com Windows mining control tool.

Setting up Nimiq Wallet

First visit nimiq site: https://www.nimiq.com/ and Create account from top right. After account created, login and press Receive.

After clicking it will popup your receive address for Nimiq.

Press the address to copy it for clipboard. Now we need to setup MinerMonitoring.com account.

Open https://minermonitoring.com and press right person picture.

After register page login and you will see empty dashboard because of a new user.

Creating configuration for mining rig

Now in top menu you see EthControl.

After that click “Add new config” red button.

Now filling out config with correct wallet, replace current NQ98.. wallet with the copied from Nimiq wallet site.

Press save config.

Download EthControl for Windows mining rig

Now get latest EthControl from: https://github.com/JamesSmith2/EthControl/releases
Currently it’s build 1044.
Download it and Unzip it.

Now start EthControl.exe, this will popup control software.

Now insert Rig name example: rig1 and insert access token, which you can find from Account page at MinerMonitoring.com

After that press Start

Setting config for mining rig

Now after EthControl started you will your rig in mining list.

It needs to be set to new config as we just made for Nimiq.
Now press console button.

After that you will see your rig status and configurations.
In this page you can apply new config and also apply new custom OC profiles.

But to apply config, select from top your new nimiq config and press “Set new config”
After new config set, it will automatically download NoncerPro cuda software and start mining on IceMining.ca

How to monitor statistics for Nimiq pool?

Go to Pools from top (this is a premium feature) and select pool type Nim — IceMining.ca

After that insert your wallet address without spaces, choose your favorite color for graph and press “Save”
Now MinerMonitoring service will automatically track Icemining for balance changes.

Checking mining stats from pool site

To check your stats from pool, visit: https://icemining.ca and press “Wallet” from top.

How to monitor rig statistics?

Press top menu item “Miners”, now you can see your rig listed. Click on rig name to show more stats.

How to monitor Nimiq wallet transactions and balance?

Now all MinerMonitoring.com premium users get a free 1 wallet for monitoring. This can be added from top “Wallets” and there “Add new wallet” button.
